2021 Highlights

What a busy year 2021 was here at Lindum Packaging! Here we take a look back at some of our 2021 highlights:

1. Launch of our UK first mobile pallet load stability test lab
Back in April we saw the launch of our mobile pallet load stability test lab – a UK first. By visiting individual sites, the test lab allows companies to test their pallets – improving pallet stability and allowing movement in transport issues to be solved. The mobile test lab has since visited sites of some of the UKs biggest food and drink manufacturers and is helping to reduce plastic packaging, and the costs of movement in transport in the supply chain.

2. Team Lindum continues to grow
We’ve welcomed a number of new faces to over the course of 2021, across our sites in the UK and Sweden. It’s been great to welcome some new faces to the team. Back in spring, Luella Sellars and Patrick Donnelly both joined the team in the UK after finishing their studies. We also welcomed Deon Johansson, Thure Johansson and Jonathan Blomqvist to the ever expanding team in Sweden too.

3. 15 years of team SE
Last month, we celebrated 15 years of the team over in Sweden. For 15 years, the team over in Sweden – led by Thomas Johansson, has been offering packaging expertise across Sweden and Scandinavia. It was great to have them fly over to the UK last month, and got the chance to celebrate this milestone.

4. New product ranges
Here at Lindum, innovation in the marketplace is at the heart of all we do. In light of the market adapting to the Plastic Packaging tax next year, we have launched a range of new recycled content products to help our customers should they want to make the switch to products with > 30% recycled plastic.

We can’t wait to see what 2022 brings for Lindum and our customers.
