September Market Update: CE Marking

The Brexit deadline for product safety rules has now been shifted back a year. CE marking is set to be replaced with a UKCA mark, with the post-Brexit deadline for changing this being January 1st 2022.

However, it was announced recently that businesses will now have an extra year to make the change, with the deadline being extended until 1st January 2023.

Businesses have faced an unprecedented amount of disruption following the pandemic. Because of this impact, the government have allowed firms an extra year for the transition.

Should you have already started work on this transition, and are sticking to the original 2022 deadline, then we can help you change your printed packaging.
