Back in 2006, Thomas Johansson started up Tomjo Produkter, with the aim of helping the industry with more efficient packaging tape.
The first product that Tomjo supplied was Bonus Tape – a tape of 200m length and a much longer product than the industry standard 66m at the time. Bonus Tape was a hit, and was the starting point for the company to go from strength to strength.
Despite a global recession on the horizon, the company employed their first salesman in 2008 and with plenty of hard work, the year was hugely successful, with a year on year sales increase of 30%.
Over the coming years, the product range expanded and the company became a supplier of sustainable packaging for industry, with a specialist focus on products for the food industry.
It was in 2019 when Tomjo merged with Lindum Packaging – a UK based market leader in the supply of sustainable transit packaging to the UK market, forming Lindum Packaging AB, and creating an established Europe wide packaging supplier.
Since the merger, and despite the pandemic, Lindum Packaging AB has seen record sales and a presence established across Scandinavia and Europe.
With 15 years’ experience, we have gone from strength to strength and overcome a number of challenges. We are now moving forward with a strong team, and working with multinational companies with a focus on more sustainable packaging.
