Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Day

On Friday 16^th June, we took part in #wearyellowday for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Cystic Fibrosis is one of the most common inherited diseases that means the internal organs, especially the lungs and digestive system, become clogged with thick sticky mucus resulting in chronic infections and inflammation in the lungs and difficulty digesting food.

The team were invited to participate by wearing yellow clothing for the day to raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis and raise funds for the charity. As well as wearing yellow, we held a small coffee morning with some yellow treats for the team to enjoy. We had lemon shortcake bars, coconut macaroons, popcorn, brownies and much more.

Make a donation to Cystic Fibrosis Trust and help change lives for the better. All money donated will go towards much needed research into the illness and the treatment options which could help the 10,800 people who suffer from Cystic Fibrosis in the UK to live a more quality life.
