Our high quality, strong pallet wrap and shrink wrap film will require less to be used to deliver the stability you need on your pallets. Less used, less to dispose of.
In addition, the quality of our product means less breakage and as a consequence less need to repeat tasks with additional wrap – a waste of time and a waste of materials.
Our longer rolls also mean fewer cores which require responsible disposal too – over the course of a year that mounts up. Fewer cores also means fewer miles spent travelling to Waste Disposal Units which in turn means lower fuel costs and fewer man hours spent on disposal duties. Keeping waste to an absolute minimum is another win-win situation.
Not only that, our bio-degradable wrap, with its BioZ technology, does its bit to preserve our planet. Did you know that a plastic bottle can take anything from 450 to 1,000 years to completely degrade? With BioZ, our wrap decomposes in 1 to 2 years. Now that is helping the planet and cutting down waste. Take a look at how BioZ is revolutionising our transit packaging products.
Take a look at the case study below to see how we reduced packaging waste.
Lindum were engaged to help Mackle reduce packaging waste, as requested by Sainsbury’s. In addition, we were asked to look at other areas of improvement including pallet configurations to improve stability and volume of product per pallet.
The pallet configurations could be improved allowing additional product on every pallet. 12 packs (144 tins) extra per pallet and on boxed product an extra 80 pots per pallet…
It may sound bizarre but our promise is to offer you less and less:
